CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – As the summer months go on, Montgomery County Animal Control is typically overrun with stray and abandoned animals, particularly cats and kittens.
In an effort to find homes for these cats the shelter will waive their adoption fees and Tiny Town Animal Clinic will spay or neuter them for free during the month of July.
Pet parents will still be required to pay $12 for rabies vaccination and county registration.
Anyone interested in adopting a new feline friend this month can visit Montgomery County Animal Control at 616 N. Spring St. in Clarksville. Their adoption hours are:
• Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Thursday from 3-7 p.m.
• Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Closed Wednesday and Sunday
