CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Montgomery County Animal Control (MCAC) is hosting the the Superhero Adoption Event on Saturday, October 27 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the shelter located at 616 N. Spring St.

MCAC will waive the $25 pet adoption fee and offer discounted microchipping for $10 during the event.

Each adopted pet will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies.

This will be the third adoption event held in memory of Scotti Reif, who passed away two years ago at the age of two years old. Scotti was the son of Adria Reif, who works at Animal Control.

“He was a big fan of superheroes and he loved coming to work with me and playing with the dogs and cats. He just loved animals,” Reif said.
