CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Montgomery County Animal Control and Adoption is asking for help to feed their cats and kittens housed at the shelter.
Jeanette Farrell, Director of Animal Control, says they have about 40 or 50 kittens right now that are in need of food.
Farrell said it is very serious and there were a few donations of cat food after a plea was put on Facebook, but those donations are only going to last a couple of days.
“If someone has a couple of cans of cat food around the house and they can drop it off at Animal Control we can ensure our nursing mothers and kittens can get food,” Farrell said.
If you would like to help, drop off your donations at Montgomery County Animal Control and Adoption at 616 North Spring Street. For more information you can call 931-648-5750, email animalcontrol@montgomerycountytn.org or visit their website.
