CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – American Heritage Girls Troop 1412 will be conducting a shoe drive until December 10.
As cooler temperatures settle in, you probably have an excess of summer shoes that you no longer have use for. The shoes that you donate will be used to develop and sustain micro-businesses in under-developed nations. Families in these nations that receive the shoes that you donate have little to no income or livelihood.
These shoes, and their ability to be sold or repurposed, represent a micro-enterprise opportunity for individual families and their communities. It represents true sustainability.
Flip-flops, flats, heels, boots, men’s, women’s, children’s, new, or old and busted, we will take them off your hands.
