Amanda Beth Celsor Scott, age 72 of Clarksville, TN, formerly of Russellville passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville.
She was born in Russellville, Kentucky on July 30, 1952 to the late Ray Herndon Celsor and Margaret Elizabeth Adams Celsor. She was a graduate of Austin Peay University and taught in the Kentucky school system for 20 years and in Tennessee for 10 years. She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church of Clarksville. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Ronald “Buddy”, Daughter, Christy Currence Scarbrough, and Grandson, Nicholas Keith Scarbrough.
Funeral Services for Amanda Beth Celsor Scott will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Larry A. Peters officiating with burial to follow in the Stevenson’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation Sunday at the funeral home will be held from 12:00 noon until the service hour of 3:00 pm.
