CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Education Foundation was the recipient Tuesday, July 13, of a $2,300 donation by Altra Federal Credit Union. Altra has joined the education foundation as a silver level sponsor.
Emily Medvecky, Business Banking Relationship Manager with Altra, who is serving as a first time board member with the CMC Education Foundation, said they were excited to make the donation.
“This year with CMCSS reopening, not knowing exactly what’s going to happen, we know the board will really appreciate this donation now more than ever to help plan for the future and to help support our teachers as they continue doing the awesome things they do for our school system,” said Medvecky.

CMC Education Foundation Executive Director Robin Burton said the foundation was very grateful for the support and appreciated Altra coming on as a silver level sponsor this year.
“These funds help make sure that we can continue to offer the quality events and programs for our children. We can also stock the Teacher Warehouse and of course offer great idea grants. With the support of companies like Altra we are able to continue our great work,” Burton said.
