CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – About 955 CDE Lightband customers lost power in the downtown area Friday morning.
CDE reported the outage was caused by a line going down on Coulter Street at about 9:40 a.m.
It has affected the following locations: 10th Street, 12th Street, Baker Street, Brooks Alley, Cedar Street, Central Avenue, Childers Place, Clark Street, Commerce Street, Conroy Avenue, Coulter Street, Crossland Avenue, Dodd Street, East Glenwood Drive, Emery Street, Emory Street, Franklin Street, Greenwood Avenue/Court, Hiter Street, Madison Street/Terrace, Main Street, Millennium Plaza, North Commerce Street, Poplar Street/Court, Porters Bluff Road, Public Square, Reynolds Street, South 1st Street, South 2nd Street, South 3rd Street, South 7th Street, South 10th Street, South 11th Street, Stafford Street, Talley Drive, Trahern Lane, University Avenue, West Glenwood Drive.
The outage may affect traffic signals. Drivers are reminded that when a traffic signal is out, the intersection becomes a four-way stop.
“Crews and engineers are working as quickly and safely as possible to get power restored,” CDE reported.
