A Celebration of Life service for Allen Swaw, age 75 of Southside, will be Sunday, July 19, 2020, at 3:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the time of service on Sunday. Allen passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2020. He was born on October 11, 1944, in Southside, TN to Alex and Mary Herrell Swaw-Atkins. Allen enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing. He loved going to yard sales, tinkering with cars, dancing, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his family, Allen is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Swaw, and brother, Carl Swaw. He is survived by his daughters, Alecia (Jon) Vaughn and Alexis (Frank) Dyce; grandchildren: Alden, Ethan, Jaylee, Corman, and Kelsey; sister, Frances (Cecil) Travis; brother, Mike Newman; and loving companion, Debra Cannon.
