Alexander Orlow, age 80 of Clarksville, passed Friday, June 20, 2014 at his residence.
Sykes Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. A Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Sykes Funeral Home and from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service on Thursday. A Memorial service will be held at noon on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Byron Dumas officiating.
He was born on August 10, 1933 in Poland to the late Bazil and Michalina Turmowich Sachartschuk. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Angela Thurnhuber Orlow.
He served his country in the Vietnam War and received the following rewards, the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal (5th Award), certificate of Achievement, Viet Nam Service Medal w/6 campaign stars, Republic of Viet Nam Campaign medal w/60 Device, 4 Oversea Service Bars, RVN Cross of Gallantry w/Palm.
He is survived by daughter, Andrea Orlow; sister, Josefa Sachartchuk; nephews, Matthew, Mark and Daniel Neises, Mark and Daniel Miller, Carl Sachartschuk; nieces, Anna Patra, Karin Butts and Teresa Sachartschuk.
