CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) Local NBA player Alex Poythress held his 2nd annual basketball camp this week at Northeast High School.
Alex is currently playing for the Indiana Pacers. He is a Northeast High School and University of Kentucky graduate.
Two hundred kids signed up for this free basketball camp ranging in age from 5 to 18 years old. The camp was split up into two different sessions.
Alex enlisted the help of his family, friends, former teammates, current players, and coaches to be instructors for the camp.
Campers were put in small groups to run through drills and games to work on their basketball skills.
Each camper received a free t-shirt and lunch from Zaxby’s.
