CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A house off of Pollard Road was severely damaged in a kitchen fire Tuesday morning.
At about 10:25 a.m., the fire on Overton Drive was called in, and Clarksville Fire Rescue arrived to see smoke coming from the home, said Assistant Fire Chief Michael Rios.

The homeowner had smelled smoke and found a kitchen air fryer on fire, Rios said. She and one child were inside; they got out and called 911.
No one else was in the home, and no one was injured. The family of three will likely be displaced because of heavy damage to the kitchen, Rios said.
