Aileen Yarbrough Mickle, age 97, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at NHC Health Care in Dickson, TN.
Mrs. Mickle was born October 1, 1925, in Montgomery County, TN, to the late Marvin Jones and Etha Wilton Biter Yarbrough. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Scott Mickle, in 1999; two sisters; two brothers and her grandson-in-law, Clint Matthew Suggs.
She is survived by her daughter, Gwendolyn Mickle; two grandchildren, Regina Doss-Suggs, Jessy (Kneewall) Hutchison; two honorary granddaughters, Maria Lewis and Amanda Mosier, and one great-grandchild, James Thomas Hutchison. Aileen was a 1942 graduate of Montgomery Central High School. She was a homemaker along with working for 20 years in Quality Control at Josten’s Yearbook Company. She was a member of Martha’s Chapel United Methodist Church as well as the Order of the Eastern Star Mary Morrison #500.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 12, 2023, at Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home and burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, June 11, and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service on Monday.
