CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Adult and Teen Challenge of Middle Tennessee held a grand opening and ribbon cutting Friday, August 30, at their new Clarksville location on Corporate Drive.
The Adult and Teen Challenge is an faith-based international organization with over 200 locations in the United States that help those struggling with addiction to drugs, alcohol and other life controlling influences through a holistic, bible-based program. Adult men are provided with meals, training and a place to stay, often through the support of friends, family and faith communities.
“The people of Clarksville have just been amazing,” said executive director Justin Hosford “We have only been here a short time and there’s been so much support. I could not say enough about the Clarksville community. They have been awesome”
Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts attended the ceremony, along with first lady Cynthia Pitts, to congratulate the Adult and Teen challenge team as well as the students for their hard work in bringing their ministry to Clarksville. He further thanked the guests for their support of Clarksville’s non-profit community and the good that those organizations do.
