All animals will receive baths and nail trims to make them presentable when they meet their new families.

Pets who are already spayed or neutered will be $12, and those who are not spayed or neutered will be $62. Additional adoption fees will be waived for the rest of the month.

“We can’t wait to help you find your paw-fect valentine!” Director Jeanette Farrell said.

In addition, the Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County is offering free spay/neuter surgeries for any pit bull (or obvious mix) adopted from Montgomery County Animal Care and Control during the month of February. This is open to the first 25 adopted and is provided through leftover funds from their annual Pit Bull Awareness event.

Tiny Town Veterinary Clinic is also offering free spay/neuter to a number of cats that came in as a pair, to allow them to be adopted as a pair.

MCAC is located at 616 N. Spring Street. For more information, call 931-648-5750 or visit the MCAC website.
