Adams, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) -An investigation into the death of 62-year-old Floyd Dean “Dena” Swift  of Adams, Tenn. by the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office has led to a woman being indicted by the grand jury.

Eulah Faye Gerecht, 73, is charged with first-degree murder, two counts of aggravated elderly neglect and Tenn Care fraud  for the  March 21st, 2020 death of Swift.

In August 2019, Dena Swift’s autopsy ruled her death a homicide with cause of death listed as malnutrition and dehydration.

The investigation determined that Eulah Gerecht served as Dena Swift’s primary care giver for many years. The case was presented to the Grand Jury of Robertson County where indictments were issued for the charges listed below.

Gerecht of Adams Tennessee is being held in the Robertson County Jail on a $200,000 bond.
