CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Action Air was recognized Wednesday, December 4 for its support of hiring veterans for its workforce. Don Bradley, Chairman of the Middle Tennessee Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) presented the award to Joy Kraeske, owner of Action Air.

Bradley, who is a retired Army Colonel, said ESGR is an agency of the U.S. Department of Defense that works to make sure employers are aware of the value of hiring reservists and veterans. Bradley added that he enjoys going around to employers who are good to the guard and reserve and hand out awards.

Kraeske said the award means a lot to Action Ar. “We have 32 employees and nine of them are veterans, six combat veterans, so we’re very proud of that. We appreciate Colonel Bradley coming down and giving it to us and we will hang the award proudly.
