Action Air recently donated $1 for every service call in the month of October to Clarksville’s local YMCA’S ABC (After Breast Cancer) Program, raising $ 752.00 for the program. This amount will sponsor a cancer survivor for 10 weeks in the ABC program.

Approximately 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will develop invasive breast cancer during their lifetime, according to breastcancer.org.

Amanda Cherry, Development Director for the Clarksville Area YMCA commented on the donation, saying, “The ABC program would not be here without the support of local foundations, individual donors, and generous local businesses like Action Air. Our program gives ladies a sense of community with other women who have fought the same hard battles they have. We are grateful to the whole Action Air team for this generous gift.”

The After Breast Cancer program provides comprehensive nutrition, exercise and wellness services free of charge to breast cancer patients and survivors. For information, visit .
