NASHVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Nashville Predators and Nashville Predators Foundation, in partnership with Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee, granted the wish of Devin Roque Wednesday.

The eight-year-old is currently battling cancer (rhabdomyosarcoma) and wishes to ride to Thursday’s game in a semitruck.

According to the Nashville Predators Foundation, Devin was able to visit the arena for his very own contract signing on Wednesday morning. He toured the building, had his signing with Director of Hockey Operations Brian Poile and GNASH as No. 51 on the team, took part in the team photo, watched practice and shot on goaltender Pekka Rinne post-practice before lunch at The Palm with Preds players.

The 18-wheeler, provided by Thompson Machinery, will pick Devin up from the Renaissance Hotel on Thursday and drop him off on Fifth Avenue in front of Bridgestone Arena. In advance of his ride to the arena, Devin will visit Thompson Machinery and operate machinery at the job site.
