CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Goodwill Career Solutions center at 2001 Needmore Road in Clarksville will host a job fair from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, for a dozen employers seeking to fill more than 740 positions in Montgomery, Cheatham, Dickson, Stewart, Houston and Davidson counties.
Employers include Goodwill, Progressive Directions Inc., Clarksville-Montgomery County School System, Oak Plains Academy, Trojan Labor, R. E. West Transportation, Contemporary Services Corporation, Arcosa Marine, 1-on-1 Care Matters, Nia Association, Concentrix and Transamerica/WFG. Child Support Services and Lockhart Trucking Academy will be on hand as community resources.
Openings include bus driver, education assistant, custodian, accounting, cafeteria monitor, mental health associate, commercial truck driver, event staff, welder, pipe fitter, barge cleaner, industrial electrician and other positions. Rates of pay reach $30 per hour.
Representatives from these employers will be on-site and interviews are possible, so job-seekers should dress for success. Job candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, photo ID and their Social Security card or birth certificate.
