CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association announced Friday their selections for the All-State Teams in all six classes for the state of Tennessee.

Clarksville High’s Kirk Weatherford and Korbin Reynolds, along with Rossview’s Becket Haselhuhn, made the Class 4A team, while Clarksville Academy’s Evan Leonard, Brennen Gibson and Colton Wallace all made the Division II-A team.

From Clarksville Academy, a trio of Cougars made the Division II-A team. Brennen Gibson, a senior outfielder, had a .435 batting average and brought in 40 RBIs. A junior shortstop/pitcher, Colton Wallace made impacts at the plate and on defense, with a.340 batting average, and only had two errors on the season at shortstop. Wallace was 6-2 on the. mound with a 1.89 ERA. The Mr. Baseball Finalist, senior catcher/pitcher Evan Leonard had a .401 average with 50 RBIs at the plate, and a .520 ERA with 84 strikeouts.

For the Class 4A team, from Clarksville High, senior second baseman Kirk Weatherford collected 58 hits, driving in 36 RBIs from the leadoff spot, and had an on-base percentage of .551. A Mr. Baseball Finalist and Rawlings All-American, senior catcher Korbin Reynolds collected 67 hits on the year and drove in 58 RBIs with a .486 batting average. From Rossview, Becket Haselhuhn earned a spot on the all-state team after batting .445 with a .528 on-base percentage, collecting 61 total hits and 43 RBIs. Haselhuhn also went 8-2 on the mound, with a 2.51 ERA, and struck out 96 total batters.
