Dorothy Katherine Waddell Richardson, age 88, of Brentwood, died Sunday, June 22, 2014, at NHC of Cool Springs.
She was born in Celina, TN, to the late John C. Waddell and Ollie Goodpasture Waddell. Katherine was also preceded in death by her husband, Sam Hille Richardson.
Mrs. Richardson was a librarian at David Libscomb Elementary School and a long-time active member of Madison Street Church of Christ.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 25 at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home.
Katherine is survived by brother, Robert (Lucy) Waddell, of Columbia, TN; and sister, Betty Boese, of Columbia, SC.
