CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Mikey McAdaragh III, a 5-year-old boy from Clarksville, has written and co-illustrated a book that he wants to share with the community.
PM Reading, a Clarksville-based non-profit, will host a book reading, signing and meet and greet at Clarksville Downtown Artists Co-op (DAC) on Saturday, November 12 from 2-4 p.m.
This meet and greet opportunity provides a chance to share Mikey’s journey and listen to the young author/co-illustrator read his book while creating community awareness of the existence of “PM Reading”.
Signed copies of Mikey’s book will be available in exchange for a donation to PM Reading.
“We are delighted that the Downtown Artists Co-op has agreed to host this event and help us bring awareness to night-time reading,” Jamie McAdaragh, PM Reading Executive Director, said. “We hope Mikey’s story will expose children to the creative process involved in writing a book and inspire other children to explore reading in a different way.”
Fundraising efforts will sponsor other children through the self-publishing process.
