Update, 8:40 a.m.: The roadway is back open.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Five vehicles crashed Friday morning on Madison Street, with minor injuries to motorists.
At about 7:28 a.m., the vehicles crashed on Madison near Holly Circle, according to Clarksville Police spokesman Officer Scott Beaubien.
Madison Street was completely shut down. “Officers are working to get the roadway cleared, but motorists are advised to find an alternate route.”
