CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Digital growth in radio listening and on-line news readership has prompted a local media group to open several positions for marketing and sales professionals.
Clarksville-based 5 Star Radio Group and Clarksvillenow.com announced Welcome Wednesday for November 5 to try and fill those key positions.
Nearly 70% of readership for Clarkvillenow.com now comes from mobile devices and more people than ever listen to radio on computers and smartphones according to Broadcast Sales Manager Summer Jackson. “This is changing the way we approach marketing because there are so many different ways to deliver an audience, “ Jackson said.
The 5 Star Radio Group includes Q108, Beaver 100.3, Rewind 94.3, Sunny 99.1, ESPN Clarksville 100.3 FM and 540 AM, Z97.5 and Clarksvillenow.com.
5 Star Radio in Clarksville will hold “Welcome Wednesday Open House” November 5 for sales and marketing pros looking for a challenging new opportunity.
Welcome Wednesday Open House will also give the community an opportunity to see how a radio and news operations works. “We’re seeking people with high energy who want to work on all digital and broadcast platforms from live remotes, to podcasts, social media and whatever is coming next,” said General Manager Katie Gambill.
