CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Local high school students with Youth Leadership Clarksville paid a visit to 5 Star Media Group, Wednesday, February 1. It was Media, Social Services and Religion Day for the 34 young people.
The students toured the studios of the radio stations of 5 Star Media and learned more about how news is gathered and reported on all of the seven stations as well as on the Clarksvillenow.com website. Each student also recorded a brief radio newscast which was put on a CD and given to them.
The students were joined by Carole Dorris, Executive Director of Leadership Clarksville and Jonathan Cliff, a Leadership Clarksville graduate with Grace Community Church.
