5 Star Media, owned by Saga Communications and located in Clarksville Tennessee, is looking for a Sales Manager to manage our talented sales staff, maximize revenue on our eight radio stations, digital news site and digital sales products.
This individual should have sales management experience and the ability to integrate our robust broadcast and digital products into campaigns that deliver results for our clients. We are looking for someone to lead our sales team, grow revenue, and maintain solid relationships with our clients and the community.
The perfect candidate will:
• Consistently support our Marketing Consultants in developing new business.
• Develop sales strategies and plans that are in alignment with our monthly and annual budgets, consistently meeting these expectations.
• Assist the Marketing Consultants in continued professional growth and education.
• Build solid, lasting relationships with our clients assisting them in meeting their business goals and expectations.
• Manage the sales process including rate management and inventory management.
• Maintain a well-developed sales team, by identifying staffing requirements and proactively recruiting.
• Ensure our marketing consultants achieve their revenue budgets across all platforms including broadcast and digital.
• Assist in developing revenue generating ideas across our broadcast and digital platforms.
Experience:
• At least 5 years of broadcast experience.
• Management experience preferred.
• Proficient in Windows Software products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• The ability to adapt to all situations and personality types.
