CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Positive COVID-19 cases are still on the rise in Montgomery County, with 481 currently active cases being reported, and 73 new cases reported today.
Ten days ago, there were only 268 active cases reported, and positive case growth rate was equal to the increase in testing. Active cases have since nearly doubled, and so has the positive case growth rate.
This rise is hitting some Clarksville-Montgomery County schools particularly hard, as Rossview Middle School is closed this week due to a spike in positive cases and necessary quarantines.
