CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A four-unit apartment complex on Forest Street caught fire Sunday when power was restored.

The neighborhood just had their power restored, and the fire started from a connection that had been pulled from the house, according to Clarksville Fire Rescue.

The fire was quickly extinguished. The four apartments have been evacuated, and the families were displaced. The Red Cross has been notified to assist the families.

Battalion 2 units from Stations 4 and 1 responded.

Over 30,000 households lost power in Clarksville during a severe wind storm on Friday, and crews have been working for days to repair lines.
