CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Clarksville Police Department has identified and spoken to the third person involved in the fatal shooting on Darlene Drive of 31-year-old Nolan Jackson of Memphis.

“The individual is cooperating with police and is no longer being sought by detectives,” said CPD Lt. Melissa Spielhagen. That person’s name has not been released.

On Oct. 5 at approximately 2 a.m., CPD responded to a shooting on Darlene Drive, according to previous reports. Officers found Jackson with a gunshot wound. He was transported to Tennova Healthcare-Clarksville and was pronounced dead a short time later.

On Oct. 10, CPD announced that 22-year-old Shaliyah Tynise Potts, who was with Jackson that morning, has been taken into custody and charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery. Police said they were involved in criminal activity that led to Jackson’s death.
