CLARKSVILLE, TN – 3ICE, the fast-paced, three-on-three professional North American ice hockey league, will be one of the first events at the new F&M Bank Arena on Wednesday, Aug. 2, at 7 p.m.

3ICE is a three-on-three, bracket-style, single-elimination series of games featuring two eight-minute periods with a running clock, according to a news release from F&M Bank Arena.

In the first game of the two-game first round, Team Patrick, coached by hockey legend Craig Patrick, who led the 1980 U.S. Men’s Olympic Hockey Team to a gold medal, featuring Brandon Pirri (f), Brian Flynn (f), Owen Headrick (d), Evan Cowley (g) Gordie Green (f), Alex Kile (f) and Ty Pelton-Byce (f); will meet Team Fuhr, coached by Hall of Fame and Stanley Cup Champion Grant Fuhr, featuring Jacob Theut (g), Jake Newton (d), Jack Combs (f), Mitch Fossier (f), John Schiavo (f), Landon Smith (f), and Zack Kamrass (d).

In the second first-round game, Team Murphy, coached by Stanley Cup Champion Larry Murphy, featuring Hank Crone (f), Matt Register (d), Colton Hargrove (f), Mark Auk (d), Derek Barach (f), Max Gerlach (f), and Eamon McAdam (g); face Team Mullen, coached by Stanley Cup Champion Joey Mullen, featuring Patrick Mullen (d), Joe Whitney (f), Paul Carey (f), Seamus Donohue (d), Parker Miler (g), Steven Whitney (f), and Cam Brown (f). The winners of the two first round games will compete in the finals with the other two teams facing off in a consolation game.

The 3ICE season culminates with the Patrick Cup Championship at Wells Fargo Center, home of the Philadelphia Flyers of the NHL, on Saturday, Aug. 12, at 1 p.m.
