CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The man who was shot on Greenwood Avenue Monday night has died from his injuries. He has been identified as Robert Agee, 39.
At about 5:27 p.m. Monday, Clarksville Police were called to the 900 block of Greenwood and found Agee with gunshot wounds. They immediately began life-saving measures. He was airlifted by helicopter to a Nashville hospital, where he later died, according to CPD Lt. Melissa Spielhagen
Detectives with the Special Operations Homicide Unit, along with members of CPD’s Crime Scene Unit, worked throughout the night collecting evidence and investigating.
“This remains an active and ongoing investigation,” Spielhagen said. “Due to the complexity of the case and to protect the integrity of the investigative process, no additional information is available for release at this time. However, CPD believes there is no threat to the public, as this appears to be an isolated incident.”
