CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has identified the woman whose van went into the Cumberland River on Jan. 9.
Divers recovered the body of 33-year-old Amber Nall, according to MCSO Lt. Bishop Delaney. The incident remains under investigation as an unattended death.

At about 7:38 a.m. that Friday morning, rescue crews were dispatched after a passing tug boat saw the van enter the water near the Lock B South boat ramp, according to previous reports. After several hours of work, the van was recovered, and in the van responders found Nall and a dog, both deceased.
