CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Killebrew, a new, 307-acre mixed use community development being planned for the Rossview area, will soon go before the Regional Planning Commission for rezoning, according to a release by marketing group Tiberon Services.

The Killebrew development encompasses a 307-acre site on Rossview Road and makes up the second phase of a 423-acre development by local developer Rossview Farms and designed by town planners Sizemore Group and Moore Design Services.

According to the release, the Killebrew development will function as a fully walkable community. The master plan includes a Main Street; nature preserve; education, performing arts, sports and entertainment district; live/work environments and a variety of restaurants and shops alongside both traditional homes, apartments and townhouses able to accommodate several thousand residents.

“The continued growth of our community requires more housing, schools and facilities, demanding better use of our resources. Our investment into the Rossview Road area East of Exit 8, started in 2005,” said Director of Rossview Farms Ronnie Moore in the release. “For the past three years we have envisioned what a masterplan community would look like and officially started Phase I in the fall of 2020, with the agreement to develop the Kirkwood school complex for CMCSS.”

Rossview Farms has submitted a rezoning application for their 307-acre site. That application will first go before the Regional Planning Commission before being considered by the appropriate legislative body, either the City Council or County Commission.

Emily Evans, spokesman for Tiberon Services, could not confirm the precise location of the Killebrew development, nor the number of planned housing units, but told Clarksville Now that information would be included in their rezoning application.
