CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Three vehicles were reported stolen to Clarksville police over the weekend.

Police said the vehicles were either left running unattended or had the keys inside.

A red scooter with the left mirror missing was stolen September 21 around 8:45 p.m. from the Kwik Stop at Greenwood Avenue. The owner left the keys in the ignition while he went into another business across the street. He told police a man carrying a baby stared at him, then got on the scooter and drove toward Woodmont Blvd.

In the second incident, a black 2013 Dodge Charger with TN tag BGQ348 was stolen from a Sharptail Trail residence sometime between September 23 at 8 p.m. and September 24 at 5 p.m. The owner believes he left his vehicle unlocked with the keys inside. When the resident left for work in the morning, he realized it was missing.

On September 23 around 9:30 p.m., a man went into Discount Tobacco and Brew at 2847 Fort Campbell Blvd. and left his white 1999 Chevrolet Lumina with an expired Georgia tag running with the doors unlocked. While he was inside the store, a man wearing a dark hoodie and light-colored pants quickly entered the vehicle and drove off with it.

Anyone who spots these vehicles should call 911. Police urge the public not to leave vehicles unlocked or running unattended at any time.
