2nd BCT to case colors prior to deployment

FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) will hold a Casing of the Colors Ceremony April 27.

The Casing of the Colors ceremony is an Army tradition which officially furls a unit’s color before a deployment.

More than 1,000 soldiers with the 2nd Brigade Combat Team will deploy to Iraq and Kuwait in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.
