CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Police have identified the man killed during the shooting Sunday night at a nightclub parking lot on Fort Campbell Boulevard as 27-year-old Tikoreus Gold.
At about 11:18 p.m. Sunday, the Clarksville Police Department received a 911 call about a shooting in the parking lot of Lyrics Lounge, 1304 Fort Campbell Blvd., according to police spokesman Officer Scott Beaubien. Officers arrived within a minute, and a witness said the individuals involved had left the scene, traveling northbound on Fort Campbell Boulevard.
A short time later, two men arrived at Tennova Healthcare Emergency Room with gunshot wounds, and both were flown to Nashville by Lifeflight helicopter. Gold, a Clarksville native, was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
According to Beaubien, the second victim is still in the hospital and listed in stable condition. His name has not been released.
This is an active investigation, and no other information is available for release at this time.
