CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Shamar Lebron Blount, a 27-year-old Clarksville resident who lives in the 700 block of Shelton Circle in Clarksville, was indicted in August of this year for allegedly killing Raquan Hudson during the perpetration of a robbery.

According to the indictment from the grand jury obtained from the Montgomery County Justice Center, on Nov. 20, 2017, Blount was trying to rob Hudson of cocaine and marijuana. Hudson was killed during the altercation.

Blount was charged with first-degree murder and robbery and is currently being held in the Montgomery County Justice Center on a $250,000 bond.

Blount’s arraignment is set for Nov. 11, 2022, at 9 a.m. before Judge William Goodman, III.
