Contributed commentary by 26 parents and educators of the Clarksville-Montgomery County School District 6.
We, the undersigned parents and educators of Clarksville-Montgomery County School District 6 are proud to express our enthusiastic endorsement of Chris Lanier for School Board.
Chris consistently shows a vast understanding of the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System (CMCSS) because of his deep community ties. He comes from a family of educators with more than 100 cumulative years of teaching experience within the school system between them. He attended Clarksville-Montgomery County schools for his entire academic career, his wife Carrie is currently a teacher, and his own children attend school in the district.
Because of his ties to CMCSS, and his experience as a successful small-business owner, Chris is the only candidate we trust to navigate the challenges and seize the opportunities that are available as CMCSS grows with our amazing community. He is a team builder and problem solver, and he will bring these skills to bear in helping shape our school system for the betterment of our children and our educators.
In addition to his professional qualifications, Chris Lanier has a proven track record of community service and leadership. His time coaching children’s softball, his involvement in Kiwanis and Leadership Clarksville, and his support to organizations like Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, YoungLife, Clarksville Association for Down Syndrome, Camp Rainbow and Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, exemplifies his commitment to making a tangible positive impact on the lives of our children and the community.
We believe that Chris Lanier is the right candidate to represent District 6 in our School Board and contribute to the continued success of our educational system. We wholeheartedly endorse him and encourage our fellow community members to support his candidacy.
