CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A record 293 High School Volunteers to turn out this year to work in the Family Fun Zone at Rivers and Spires. The following schools participated:

Kenwood High School – 94 hours/an average hour per student of 4.2
Northeast High School – 172 hours/an average hour per student of 4.4
Clarksville High School – 74 hours/an average hour per student of 3.7
Montgomery Central High School – 40 hours/an average hour per student of 4.0
Rossview High School –74 hours/an average hour per student of 1.76

The winners of the 2016 Mayor’s Volunteer Trophy were:

Middle College/APSU – Volunteered 22 students and 104 hours worked average per student 4.7 Winner of the most hours worked per student
Northwest High School – Volunteered 71 students and 290 hours worked average per student 4.08 Winner of the most students worked

Northeast High School – Is named as honorary mentioned

The winning schools will receive a place on the Rotating Volunteer Trophy Cup and a monetary donation. The trophy will be presented to the winners at the May formal Montgomery County Commissioners meeting.
