NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Two soldiers from Fort Campbell were arrested early Friday morning after allegedly causing a disturbance with a gun at a bar in downtown Nashville.
WKRN News 2 reports that 22-year-old Andrew Comeau and 25-year-old Joseph Boyd were involved in an altercation at a bar near 4th Avenue and Commerce Street around 2:30 a.m., according to police.
Reports said they left the bar but came back with a pistol, and the bouncer called police.
The men fled and hid in a courtyard on 4th Avenue. Eventually one of the men surrendered to police while the man with the gun continued to hide in the bushes.
Both were arrested for public intoxication, evading arrest, and disorderly conduct.
The soldier with the gun will face a charge of possession of a firearm while intoxicated.
