CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Two people were shot early Wednesday morning in the parking lot of Mike’s Bar and Grill in Clarksville.
At about 3 a.m., two couples were arguing inside a business in the 2200 block of Lowes Drive, according to Clarksville Police Detective Mike Patterson.
Mike’s is at 2207 Lowes Drive, and witnesses reported the police presence there later Wednesday morning.
One of the couples was asked to leave by management. As the couple was leaving, threats were made about coming back to the business to “shoot up the place,” Patterson said.
They returned to the parking lot shortly after and became involved in another fight with the same couple.
Several gunshots were fired, and two people were hit: The man and woman who had been asked to leave and returned, Patterson said.
Both were transported to the hospital, and their condition was unknown later Wednesday morning.
