WOODLAWN, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Two people were flown by LifeFlight to Nashville after a house fire in Montgomery County Wednesday night.

Ata about 7:55 p.m., Montgomery County Fire Service was on the scene of the fire in the 3800 block of Dailey Road. Someone driving by saw the heavy flames coming from the home and called 911, according to an MCFS report.

Two occupants of the home escaped the blaze. Montgomery County EMS assessed their injuries and they were transported by helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Three dogs were missing at the scene.

Two EMS units, MCSO and MC Rescue Squad assisted. CEMC also came out to disconnect electricity from the house. The fire was out around 9:15 pm. The fire investigator was on the scene conducting an investigation.
