Family, friends and fellow Soldiers welcomed 256 Screaming Eagles back to Fort Campbell in the early morning hours Friday, September 25. The Soldiers, with the 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, of the 1st Brigade Combat Team were returning from their 7-month deployment to Afghanistan.
The “Bulldog” Soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) supported Operation Resolute Support and advised and assisted the Afghan National Army.
