CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – An 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged again in connection to a May 2015 homicide on College Street.

Tequan Evans was arrested Jan. 12 and charged with 1st degree felony murder, aggravated burglary, and criminal impersonation. His bond was set at $275,000.

Evans was initially charged in May with criminal homicide for the shooting death of 20-year-old Charles Whitfield during a party.

Tremond Dinell Lenor (19), Bobby Lenor III (18), and Savion Stallworth (18) were also charged with criminal homicide. Court documents said the three teens “unlawfully, feloniously, and with premeditation, acting in concert and criminally responsible for the conduct of each other, did kill Charles Whitfield.”

Criminal homicide charges for Tequan Evans were dropped in June pending a grand jury presentation. He has now been indicted by the Montgomery County Grand Jury, according to PIO Natalie Hall with the Clarksville Police Department.
