CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville Police officers responded to a call July 7 for a shooting on Oak Lane. When officers arrived they found a 15-year-old that had been shot in the back.
Based on available information, which could be confirmed, the victim was outside on the side of the road. A dark colored vehicle drove by and shots were fired from the vehicle as it passed.
The teenager was struck and fell to the ground. He was taken by Lifelight and is in stable condition with possible long term injuries.
He will be undergoing an additional surgery.
Officials state the incident does not appear to be a random act.
