NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Thirteen juveniles escaped from a youth detention center in Nashville late Friday night.
WKRN News 2 reports that the juveniles at Woodland Hills in Nashville overpowered a guard, took his radio and keys, and ran to the outer gate.
One teen was able to squeeze through the gate and break into a security office to let the others out.
Department of Children Services officials confirmed that one guard sustained minor injuries.
All but one of the escapees were caught and transported to a detention center at a juvenile court.
Metro police found Timothy Willis, 16, around 6:45 a.m. Sunday and took him into custody.
This is the same facility where 32 juveniles escaped from earlier this month.
