CDE restores power to 12,000 customers

Power outage affected multiple areas.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville Department of Electricity lost power to its Primary, East and Ladd substations Friday.

This outage affected approximately 12,000 customers across multiple areas of Clarksville. APSU has cancelled all day and night classes due to a campus-wide outage, and Clarksville Academy dismissed students early.

Power was restored around 12:30 p.m.
