CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The National Weather Service has issued a “Wind Advisory” from 9:00 Monday morning until 6:00 Monday evening for the area.
Southerly winds are expected to reach over 35 MPH which could cause downed tree limbs leading to isolated power outages.
Motorists are also urged to use caution while driving because winds could be a problem for high profile vehicles on the roadways.
A Flash Flood watch is also in effect through this evening, with one to two inches of rain expected. People who live along creeks and streams should monitor levels.
