OAK GROVE, Ky. – The Oak Grove Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance with an unsolved murder case.

27-year-old Andre Mitchell was killed in a shooting outside of Gravity Night Life in Oak Grove in August of 2014.

Mitchell’s body was later found in the back seat of a vehicle in the parking lot of Waffle House on Fort Campbell Blvd. in Clarksville. Police in Oak Grove confirmed the man they found was the gunshot victim.

According to the Clarksville Police Department, shots were fired shortly before 3 a.m. and shell casings were found in the driveway of Gravity Night Life on Fort Campbell Blvd. Oak Grove police found two guns and more shell casings on the side of the road.

Police have still not named a suspect in the case.
