CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville Salvation Army was in need of help for its Angel Tree program on Thursday, Dec. 11.

There were around 100 children whose Christmas may not have been as happy as it could be because their Angels were not picked from the Angel Trees in Clarksville.

However, as of Friday afternoon, Captain Sarah Steele with the Salvation Army confirmed that the remaining angels had been adopted, thanks to the support of the community.

The clothing and/or toy that is purchased for the child needs to be returned to the Salvation Army on Kraft Street by 4:00 p.m. Saturday, December 12 to be distributed to the Angel Tree recipients on Monday, December 14.
